Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Deleon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Williams has taken the fight to the clinch.
Deleon tries to pull guard but Williams won't allow it.
Deleon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Williams smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Deleon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams tries to bum rush Deleon with a series of wild strikes but Deleon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Williams shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Deleon eats them both and turns towards Williams to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Deleon circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Deleon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Deleon drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Deleon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Williams stalks Deleon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Deleon's face. Deleon staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Deleon is rocked!
Williams throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Deleon's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Williams dives in looking to finish as Deleon flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Williams's strikes! Williams is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Deleon's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Deleon was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Marquez goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Williams continues to drive forward.#TD#

Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marquez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Marquez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Steve Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams throws a right hand that Marquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Marquez also avoids with ease.
Marquez seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
