Long gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Almeida counter with a right hand.
Long shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Almeida as he avoids it easily.
Wang Long seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Long takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Long rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Almeida counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Almeida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Long manages to avoid it.

Almeida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Almeida wants it to stay on the feet.
Long shoots for a double leg takedown but Almeida sprawls well. He's pushed Long's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Long. Cook does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Long looks to move away, Cook throws a big counter combo but Long just gets out of the way.
Long will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cook thumps Long with a low kick.
Long thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cook moves out of range of the strikes.
Long throws a looping overhand right but Cook ducks down to avoid it. #TD2#
Long fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cook to the ground. Long is now in Cook's guard.
Cook is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Long content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Cook is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Long lets go of the hold and Cook can pop his arm back in it's socket.
