#R1# Jun Fan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sotin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jun Fan misses with a double jab.
Jun Fan misses with a takedown attempt #TD2# and Sotin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jun Fan's guard. Jun Fan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sotin dives into side control.
#REVR# Sotin staying calm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Jun Fan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sotin. Sotin throws a strike aimed at the side of Jun Fan's head but Jun Fan avoids it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sotin is staying tight to Jun Fan's torso, preventing him from escaping. Sotin scores with punches from side control. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jun Fan is being controlled here. #SUB2# Sotin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jun Fan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jun Fan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sotin on the ground.#SUB2# Sotin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Sotin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sotin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T3# Sotin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jun Fan tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Sotin scoring with strikes but Jun Fan is staying in there. Sotin controlling from mount. Jun Fan is bucking up trying to escape but Sotin cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sotin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#ROC2# Jun Fan is rocked! Sotin controlling his opponent. Sotin is continuing to stall.#T4# Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sotin lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jun Fan throws a chopping leg kick but Sotin manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jun Fan just misses with a punch to the body.
Jun Fan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sotin avoids it really well and circles away. Sotin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.#CL2# Sotin pushes Jun Fan up against the cage in a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Sotin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jun Fan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sotin to keep the fight standing. Jun Fan wants to stall.

#T1# Sotin pushes Jun Fan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jun Fan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sotin walks away with a smile on his face. Jun Fan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Jun Fan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jun Fan throws a body kick that misses #TD2# and Sotin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jun Fan! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sotin moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Sotin scores with punches from side control. Evgeny Sotin has got the better of the ground game so far. Sotin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jun Fan down.
Sotin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sotin is working Jun Fan over with some ground and pound from side control. Oh Jun Fan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee asks Sotin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sotin prefers to stall for the moment though. Sotin cracks Jun Fan with a big right hand but Jun Fan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sotin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T2##SU2# Sotin stands up. Sotin connects with a leg kick. Jun Fan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jun Fan seems to have got his legs back now. Sotin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jun Fan takes a step back to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sotin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#CL2# Jun Fan tries to keep at a distance but Sotin has taken the fight into the clinch. A short uppercut from Sotin. Sotin is struggling to control the position. Sotin managing to block the knees to the body from Jun Fan.

No joy there for Sotin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#T4# A chopping leg kick lands by Sotin. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Jun Fan wants to take the fight to the mat but Sotin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sotin connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jun Fan's face.

Evgeny Sotin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3# Jab by Sotin. Jun Fan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sotin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jun Fan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sotin counters with an inside leg kick. Sotin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jun Fan at a distance.
Jun Fan tries to grapple but his opponent circles #KD2# and Sotin counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Jun Fan! Sotin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sotin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sotin unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jun Fan wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Sotin celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
