#R1##KD# Oh, that's a big right hand from Peavris and Bear goes tumbling to the canvas! Peavris follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. #CUT# It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Peavris scores with a couple of nice shots. Peavris controlling the pace. Peavris drops an elbow to the side of Bear's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bear trying to hold on to Peavris's head to control him but Peavris postures up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peavris connects with a nice short shot to Bear's temple. #SUB2# Bear looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peavris is looking to advance position but Bear won't allow it. Bear gets back to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Peavris works over Bear with some ground and pound from guard. Bear looking for a sweep. Not yet Bear, not yet. Peavris cracks Bear with a solid left hand.#T3# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bear is on top in guard.

Bear tries to free his leg and advance position but Peavris is retaining full guard. Bear postures up and lands a big shot to Peavris's brow. Bear keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peavris's head. Peavris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bear manages to get himself to full guard.

#R1##TD# Morley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peavris on his heels. He'll look to pass Peavris's guard now, I'm sure. Peavris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Peavris tries to pass to full mount but Morley defends it. Morley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Peavris. Morley gets back to full guard.
Peavris is working Morley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peavris tries to free his leg and advance position but Morley is retaining full guard. Morley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Peavris cracks Morley with a solid left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morley has control of Peavris's left arm, preventing Peavris from doing any damage. Morley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Peavris dives into side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Morley will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Peavris throwing a counter right hand but Gruzdev manages to avoid it. Alexander Gruzdev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gruzdev takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gruzdev tries to clinch but Peavris moves out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Peavris misses the target. Peavris takes one to the chin there. Peavris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gruzdev pinned against the cage. Bobby Jr is trying to control the position but Peavris postures up. Bobby Jr controlling the position. Bobby Jr continues to stall. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bobby Jr is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Peavris. Peavris throws the left hand but Bobby Jr avoids the punch easily. Bobby Jr buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Oggleberry-Pip uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peavris. Oggleberry-Pip feints and then cracks Peavris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peavris down. Peavris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Oggleberry-Pip. Oggleberry-Pip looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Oggleberry-Pip throws a nice head kick!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Duckworth has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
