Williams has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Shanna takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Shanna misses with a two punch combination.
Williams darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Shanna throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shanna throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.

Shanna gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Williams gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Shanna is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Zamora feints and as Shanna raises his hands in defense, Zamora changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zamora jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shanna walks away with a smile on his face. Zamora gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looked like Zamora was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shanna.

David Shanna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Shanna catches Zamora with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Shanna lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shanna.

Zamora is rocked!
Zamora drops his hands for a split second and Shanna immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Zamora face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Shanna follows up with a right hand that knocks Zamora into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). David Shanna!
