Diaz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Diaz cracks Jezza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Diaz throws out a powerful jab. Jezza swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a slapping leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz throws a nice inside leg kick. Jezza throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily. Diaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jezza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Diaz connects with a looping right hand.
Diaz throws a shot from downtown. Jezza moves away and avoids it. Jezza let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Antonio Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jezza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A jab from Diaz finds it's way through Jezza's defenses. Diaz cracks Jezza with an open hand slap. Diaz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Diaz. Diaz pushes Jezza back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jezza wants to take the fight to the mat but Diaz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Diaz. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jezza tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diaz smiles and moves away.
Antonio Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Jezza. Diaz throws a looping overhand right but Jezza ducks down to avoid it. Jezza takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses. Diaz throws a body kick that misses. Jezza is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.#T3# Diaz cracks Jezza with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Diaz misses with the combination.
Jezza wants to counter with a clinch but Diaz pushes him away. Diaz is looking to score with low kicks. Jezza feints a counter leg kick. Diaz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jezza at a distance.
Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jezza throws a series of punches but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz throws a leg kick which misses Jezza's front leg but catches the back leg as Jezza tries to avoid it. Antonio Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jezza walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.#T4# Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jezza tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Diaz thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jezza if he has to take too many more of those.

A punch lands to the side of Jezza 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jezza on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Anderson Jezza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz tries to score with a low kick but Jezza moves his leg out of the way. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jezza takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Jezza does a little dance to reset his feet. Anderson Jezza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jezza takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Alucard stays standing though and waves Jezza back to his feet!#ROC# Jezza is rocked!#KD# Alucard cracks Jezza with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jezza looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Alucard finish him?
Jezza is still on wobbly legs! Can Alucard finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jezza is holding his hands too far apart here. Alucard throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Jezza is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladimir Alucard! Vladimir Alucard seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Maddox regains full guard. Nicely done. Maddox trying to keep a closed guard but Jezza is proving a slippery customer.
#SUB# Jezza is posturing up here but Maddox has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jezza tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jezza has to tap! Slick submission there by Maddox!

#R1##CL# Weiss rushes Jezza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A head punch on the inside from Weiss fails to land. #BC# Weiss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weiss connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Weiss fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#TD2# Jezza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jezza controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jezza looking to pass the guard. Jezza preventing the sweep. #T1# Jezza is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Weiss wants to hit a switch here but Jezza passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Weiss there! Weiss can't escape the position.

Jezza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's better than Jezza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jezza is staying tight to Weiss's torso, preventing him from escaping. Let's hope that Jezza has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jezza passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Weiss! #T2# Weiss is looking to improve his position but Jezza isn't that keen on the idea. Jezza controlling the pace for now. Jezza is continuing to stall. Jezza has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Weiss looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Weiss is really stuck here.
