We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tavau lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cooper quite badly. Cooper pulls Tavau in close trying to recover. Tavau postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cooper on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cooper doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Siva Tavau!
A very excited looking Siva Tavau rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
