#R1# Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shamrock. Souza lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Shamrock definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Shamrock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Souza swivels and escapes. Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shamrock. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shamrock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Souza pinned against the cage. Souza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A little jabbing left from Souza on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Souza thuds his right hand into Shamrock's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#KD2# Souza lands a left and a right that send Shamrock crashing to the mat, dazed. Souza thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Souza lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Shamrock goes down and covers up as Souza starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

#R1##TD# Shamrock scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sall can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB# Shamrock working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Shamrock happy to just control the position for now. Shamrock trying to control the position but Sall is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sall tries to escape but Shamrock is in control. Shamrock advances to mount. #T1# Shamrock controlling from the full mount. Shamrock scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Shamrock prevents Sall from getting the reversal.#SUB# Shamrock working for a submission but Sall is keeping him at bay. We've been hearing that Shamrock has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Sall tries to hold on but Shamrock postures up. Shamrock is in the full mount, landing strikes. Shamrock throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Shamrock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sall is looking to escape. #T2# Shamrock working away from the top, dropping strikes.#CUT# It looks like Tau Sall has been cut. Shamrock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shamrock throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sall because Shamrock loaded up on that one. Shamrock thowing shots but they're missing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shamrock lands a heavy elbow. #SUB# Shamrock is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Sall is forced to tap! Great finish!

#R1##TD# Castro dives in and scores a takedown into Shamrock's guard. Castro lands a couple of elbows. Castro trying to control the position from guard on top but Shamrock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Castro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shamrock should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#SUB2# Shamrock has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Castro doesn't defend quickly enough and Shamrock has managed to lock this one up! Can Castro escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shamrock on a fantastic submission victory.
