#R1# Mac waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fu. Mac connects with the punch.#KD# Mac drops Fu with a left right combo! Mac follows him down to the ground into side control.
#ROC# Fu is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Bruce Fu has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Mac has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mac yanks on the arm and Fu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mac.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Big Mac! Big Mac seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Bruce Fu spoke after the fight, saying 'Fu You!'.

#R1# Fu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Paris throws out the jab. Paris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fu's waist but Fu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paris off to one side. Fu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fu scores with a head kick. Paris tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Fu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Paris dives in for a single leg takedown but Fu sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Paris stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fu. Fu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Paris. Paris takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#TD2# Paris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Paris in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Paris postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Paris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T1##SUB2# Paris has hold of Fu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Paris cranks the arm and Fu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Our winner, Cody Paris, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Fu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fu but Fu pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fu was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Bruce Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fu lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fu scores with a push kick. Vovchanchyn shoots in for a double leg but Fu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Vovchanchyn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fu is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vovchanchyn takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.#CL# Fu tries to keep at a distance but Vovchanchyn has taken the fight into the clinch. Vovchanchyn has Fu pressed against the cage.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fu - the referee stops the clock and Vovchanchyn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fu. Vovchanchyn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Vovchanchyn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Fu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fu throws a leg kick which misses Vovchanchyn's front leg but catches the back leg as Vovchanchyn tries to avoid it. Fu throws a sloppy head kick and Vovchanchyn moves out of range easily. Vovchanchyn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Fu lands a head kick. Vovchanchyn smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Vovchanchyn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vovchanchyn's calf. Fu chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Vovchanchyn is looking to counter the offense by Fu and move into the clinch. Fu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vovchanchyn attempts a counter takedown but Fu avoids it well and moves away.#CL# Vovchanchyn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fu, pushing him back against the cage. Vovchanchyn has Fu pressed against the cage, preventing Fu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fu tries to circle away but Vovchanchyn has him pinned against the cage. Vovchanchyn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.#BC# Vovchanchyn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
