#R1# Zurdur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burns's waist but Burns gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zurdur off to one side. Zurdur throws a right hand that misses
letting Burns counter with a right hand. Zurdur attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Burns dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice shot by Burns. Zurdur seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Burns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zurdur looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nice body punch from Burns. Burns scores with a hook to the body. Zurdur takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Burns shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zurdur as he avoids it easily. Burns lands a body shot.
#TD2# Burns shoots in and gets a takedown into Zurdur's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burns working some strikes from top position. Zurdur avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Burns takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Burns scores with a hook to the body. Zurdur takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Burns scores with a sloppy right hand. Zurdur should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brent Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown attempt by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Zurdur, which made it look bad. #T2# Zurdur looks to land a left hand but Burns moved out of range nicely. Burns lands with an uppercut that bounces Zurdur off the cage and back into range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burns throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #TD# Zurdur fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Burns to the ground. Zurdur is now in Burns's guard. Burns bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zurdur's guard. #REVB# Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zurdur swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns stays in close to Zurdur's body and controls the position. Burns has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Burns throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Burns controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Zurdur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.#T3# Burns won't allow Zurdur to sweep him here. Burns is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Burns is pushing down on Zurdur's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zurdur is fighting to maintain full guard but Burns has managed to sneak the leg through. Burns lands strikes from half guard. Brent Burns has got the better of the ground game so far. Zurdur wants to control but Burns passes into side.

Burns prefers to stall for the moment though. Zurdur on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zurdur tries to get out of the position. Burns is continuing to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brent Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zurdur is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Burns is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Burns unloading with bombs! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Burns cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns landing strikes from the mount and Zurdur is in trouble! #T1# Burns looking to control and managing it successfully. Burns lands a couple of good shots and Zurdur has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Oooh a big shot gets through from Burns. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Burns is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Zurdur is trying to remain composed but Burns is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Brent Burns is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#T2# You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Shepherd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zurdur is one step ahead there. Zurdur pushing down on Shepherd's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Shepherd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Zurdur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Delgado manages to avoid it. Delgado tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Zurdur manages to circle out of the way. Delgado dives in and grabs Zurdur's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zurdur pushes down on Delgado's head and hops out. Delgado takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A jab from Zurdur finds it's way through Delgado's defenses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zurdur feints with a jab and clips Delgado right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Delgado is sent crashing into the canvas and Zurdur leaps in for the kill! Delgado tries to get to his feet but Zurdur is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Delgado is in need of a savior and steps in!
