deSouza changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. deSouza sees it coming and avoids it easily.
deSouza throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it.

It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson flashes deSouza a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. deSouza's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. deSouza crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Johnson punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Orosco tries to clinch but deSouza is having none of it.

and Orosco counters with a good low kick that deSouza was not able to check.

deSouza closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salem's guard.

Salem knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for deSouza on the ground.
deSouza seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
deSouza tries to free his leg and advance position but Salem is retaining full guard.

deSouza with the ground and pound but Salem uses the opportunity to regain guard.
