#R1# Basha shoots in looking for a takedown. Boyko tries to sprawl out of it but Basha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boyko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #TD2# Boyko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boyko showed some decent athleticism there. #ES# Basha has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boyko is on him like a limpet, forcing Basha back against the cage. Basha gets underhooks to prevent Boyko's takedown attempt.
Boyko has Basha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Basha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Basha is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Boyko wants to take the fight to the mat but Basha manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Mansoor Basha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavlo Boyko. Boyko looking for a takedown. #T1# Boyko looking for a takedown. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyko wants to pass the guard but Basha is keeping the position. Basha looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boyko is one step ahead there. Basha will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Basha lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Boyko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Basha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB2# Boyko looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Basha has picked Boyko up and slammed him! Boyko can't keep hold of the triangle and Basha manages to pass to side control!#T2# Boyko is looking to regain half guard here but Basha keeps moving and retains side control. Boyko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Basha creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boyko sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Basha tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Basha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boyko keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Basha working away. Basha is looking to take a break and control but Boyko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boyko is looking for a sweep.#T3# Basha throwing shots but missing, from side control. Boyko can't do much from the bottom here. Basha throws a strike aimed at the side of Boyko's head but Boyko avoids it well. Basha trying to control the action but Boyko is working from the bottom. Boyko tries to buck Basha off but Basha is having none of it. Basha trying to control the position but Boyko is working away. Boyko is looking for a sweep.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boyko can't do much from the bottom here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boyko is trying to work for a sweep but Basha has mounted him! Basha looking to ground and pound but Boyko is blocking nicely. Basha tries to control but Boyko wriggling away. Boyko has given up his back here.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boyko is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Basha throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Boyko tries to escape but Basha has the hooks in and won't let him break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mansoor Basha dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! #R2##TD# Basha closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boyko wants to stand back up but Basha manages to pass into side control.
Basha wants to control but Boyko is keeping him busy. Boyko is trying to get back to half guard. Basha has knee on belly and moves into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Basha controlling the position easily from mount. Boyko is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.#T1# Boyko can't escape the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boyko can do anything to dispel that myth. Basha looking to control but Boyko is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. #SUB# Basha goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Boyko is on top in guard.
#SUB# Boyko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Basha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boyko has managed to get both his arms back between Basha's legs - danger averted. Basha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boyko's guard. #REVR# Boyko keeping moving, preventing Basha from controlling successfully. Boyko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #T2##SUB2# Boyko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Basha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boyko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #SUB2# Boyko throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Boyko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SU# Basha decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Boyko, up you get! #T3# Basha doesn't manage to clinch there - Boyko circles away.
Basha tries to clinch but Boyko moves out of range. Boyko keeps the fight on the outside.#TD2# Boyko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Boyko is breathing heavily. Boyko winds up and cracks Basha with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Basha blocking the ground and pound attempt from Boyko. #ES# Basha has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boyko is on him like a limpet, forcing Basha back against the cage.#TD# Basha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Basha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #T4# Boyko is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Boyko with a nice head shot there. Boyko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Basha works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Boyko trying to control but Basha is working from the bottom. Basha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB# Boyko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Basha is working the butterfly guard. This is the final round! #R3# Boyko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Basha uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boyko has time to react. Basha shoots in looking for a takedown. Boyko tries to sprawl out of it but Basha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mansoor Basha overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boyko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Basha down.

Let's see what he's got on the ground. #T3# Basha tries to kick Boyko off but Boyko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Boyko wants to control but Basha is keeping him busy. Basha is trying to maintain the position but Boyko is very close to passing his half guard. Basha throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
#SU2# Boyko escapes and gets back to his feet. Mansoor Basha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Basha feints a jab promting Boyko to slip. Basha then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Boyko slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Basha dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boyko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Basha as he jumps to the side. Basha drops down looking for a counter takedown but Boyko sprawls and moves away.#T4##CL# Basha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyko, pushing him back against the cage.#TD# Basha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Basha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Basha wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB# Basha is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Boyko controlling from the top position. Basha is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boyko can do to turn this around? Basha is trying to hold Boyko in close to prevent damage but Boyko has managed to pass into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mansoor Basha. Well Basha has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
