#R1##CL# Aldo rushes Swaber and presses him up against the cage. Swaber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Aldo misses with a short punch on the inside. With the fighters up against the cage, Swaber throws an elbow but misses. Swaber has had enough of the clinch but Aldo keeps him there for the moment. Aldo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Aldo lands with a left to the head. Aldo lands an uppercut. Swaber is working for takedown but Aldo is calmly controlling the position for now. Swaber can't get the takedown.
Aldo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Aldo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Aldo lands with a left to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Aldo. Aldo lands a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aldo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Aldo tries to stand but Swaber is controlling his head. Swaber is still in real trouble! Can Aldo finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1##SU# Aldo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Swaber to his feet. #CL# Aldo gets a clinch. I was talking to Aldo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Swaber blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Aldo dips a shoulder and cracks Swaber with a mighty uppercut! Swaber falls back against the cage and Aldo unloads with a barrage of strikes! Swaber is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Aldo screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo! Jose Aldo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

#R1# Swaber on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Efimov. Efimov obviously looking to wear him down.
Swaber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Swaber has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Efimov finds it's way round the side to connect with Swaber 's head. #KD# Efimov lands a left and a right that send Swaber crashing to the mat, dazed. Efimov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC# Swaber is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Haitam Swaber has been cut. Swaber pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Swaber is still on wobbly legs! Can Efimov finish him? Efimov cracks Swaber with a hook to the temple - Swaber is on wobbly legs here! Efimov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Swaber falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Efimov wins by TKO!

#R1# Swaber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Neal counters with a straight right hand. Swaber shoots in looking for a takedown. Neal tries to sprawl out of it but Swaber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Neal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Neal seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Swaber looks winded! A head kick by Swaber misses and Neal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CUT# It looks like Haitam Swaber has been cut. Neal is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Swaber flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Swaber is out cold! Neal holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaedo Neal! Kaedo Neal was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Boyer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boyer avoids the elbow strike from Swaber , against the cage.
Boyer is pressed up against the cage. Swaber has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boyer down to the mat. Boyer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Boyer throws a head kick but Swaber moves out of range.
Swaber unleashes a big counter combination but Boyer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.#CL2# Swaber clinches up with Boyer and pushes him back against the cage. Boyer tries for a takedown but Swaber manages to get underhooks.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omer Boyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyer keeps control of Swaber as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD# Boyer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Swaber clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#SUB# Boyer working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Boyer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1# Boyer really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Swaber . We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Swaber remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Boyer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Pace is working for takedown but Swaber is calmly controlling the position for now. Pace tries to pull guard but Swaber forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Pace goes for a takedown attempt but Swaber pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Swaber can't fight it off and eventually Alexander manages to take the fight to the floor. Swaber looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Swaber throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alexander is looking to stand up but Swaber won't let him. Alexander could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Swaber wants to sweep but no luck. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Swaber is on top in guard.

Melton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Swaber has a couple of punches blocked by Melton.
