#R1# No joy there for Stiebler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stiebler throws a right hand that Jarvis ducks under and follows up with a left that Jarvis also avoids with ease. It looked like Jarvis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jarvis dodges the punch combination from Stiebler.
Stiebler shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jarvis eats them both and turns towards Stiebler to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jarvis moves forwards but Stiebler connects with a nice, crisp jab. Stiebler throws a series of punches but Jarvis avoids them all with ease. Jarvis throws a big counter combination but Stiebler scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Stiebler throws a leg kick but Jarvis checks it. A counter left hand to the body from Jarvis misses its target. Stiebler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stiebler looks to land a combination but Jarvis avoids it well. Stiebler should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Stiebler throws a right hand that Jarvis ducks under and follows up with a left that Jarvis also avoids with ease. Good leg kick by Stiebler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stiebler throws a series of punches but Jarvis moves out of range. It appears Jarvis was looking to counter with a kick there. It looked like Jarvis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Stiebler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #T4# Sloppy strikes from Stiebler. Those never looked like landing. Stiebler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Jarvis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stiebler looks to score with a jab to the body but Jarvis is just out of range. Stiebler misses with the combination.
Jarvis is looking for a counter combo.#CL# Jarvis moves into range and clinches up with Stiebler.#TD# Jarvis tightens his grip and picks Stiebler up, before dumping him to the ground. Stiebler manages to land in guard. Stiebler is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jarvis dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#REVB# Jarvis in side control lands a decent elbow. Jarvis lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Stiebler tries to escape back to his feet but Jarvis has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Stiebler's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Stiebler is tapping! Jarvis saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!

#R1# Stiebler takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Danga de danga de dang - Stiebler scores with a four punch combination! A right-left combo lands from Stiebler. No joy there for Stiebler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Byrne swinging wildly here.
Stiebler feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Byrne's calf. Stiebler lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Byrne goes for a double leg but Stiebler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stiebler continues to drive forward. Byrne looks winded! A slapping leg kick lands for Stiebler.
Byrne shoots for a double leg takedown but Stiebler sprawls well. He's pushed Byrne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stiebler throws a one two combo.
Stiebler lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Stiebler tries to bum rush Byrne with a series of wild strikes but Byrne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Byrne takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.#T1# Stiebler looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Phil Stiebler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stiebler stalks Byrne and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Byrne's face. Byrne staggers backwards, shaken. Byrne throws a body punch but Stiebler moves out of range. Stiebler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stiebler scores with a head kick. Byrne tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Stiebler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Stiebler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A right-left combo lands from Stiebler. Stiebler lands a head kick. Byrne smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Stiebler throws a head kick but Byrne moves out of range.
Byrne tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Stiebler jabs Byrne to the body, keeping him at a distance. Byrne has Stiebler pressed against the cage, preventing Stiebler from circling away and getting back to striking at range.#T3# Byrne keeps control of Stiebler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD2# Byrne pulls guard. #SUB2# Stiebler wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Byrne's closed guard. He's half up but Byrne has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Byrne pivots and extends the arm, Stiebler falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Byrne! Well done that man!
