Morozov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#SUB# Morgan actively working from the bottom here. Morozov is taking a breather. Morgan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB2# Morozov seems to be looking for submissions.
Morozov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morgan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Morgan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Morozov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morozov is keen to just control but Morgan is a slippery customer. Morgan works his way to full guard. #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#CL# Morgan clinches up with Hodge and pushes him back against the cage. Hodge looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Morgan gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hodge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morgan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morgan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Morgan throwing shots but Hodge is blocking nicely. Hodge keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Morgan winds up and cracks Hodge with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hodge trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Morgan manages to pass to mount!
