#R1# Willis throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Willis defends it well.#TD2# Willis gets caught napping as Johnson dives in and scores a takedown. Willis manages to retain guard. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Johnson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Willis's head. Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard. Johnson distracts Willis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Johnson won't allow Willis to sweep him here. Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Johnson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. More stalling from Johnson. Johnson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Johnson stays in close to Willis's body and controls the position. Johnson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Willis's head. Willis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground. Johnson distracts Willis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Willis being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Willis has momentary wrist control but Johnson slips an elbow through the middle. Willis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T3# Johnson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Willis covers up, he's hurt! Johnson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Johnson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Johnson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
