#R1# Jackson dips to his left and cracks Bombastus with an uppercut! Bombastus moves out of range of the strikes. Bombastus walks into a jab. Bombastus misses with a right hand and Jackson counters with a nice body shot. Bombastus ducks under a wild hook from Jackson. We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Wilder MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A big left from Jackson misses. Bombastus throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range. Jackson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big left from Jackson misses. A shot to the body from Bombastus misses and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. Jackson throws a nice outside leg kick. #T1# Bombastus takes one on the button. Jackson lands a jab to Bombastus's midsection. Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#KD# A jab-cross combination lands for Jackson and sends Bombastus crashing to the mat! Jackson follows him down to the mat - Bombastus regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #ROC# Bombastus is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bombastus pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Bombastus is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him? Bombastus is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Bombastus is not content to let Jackson control the position. Bombastus seems to have recovered his senses. Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bombastus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Jackson stalling. Jackson prevents Bombastus from standing back up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.#T2# The referee calls for the fighters to work.
#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bombastus clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bombastus moves away. Bombastus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a slapping leg kick. Jackson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bombastus. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bombastus checks a leg kick. #T3# Bombastus misses with a left hand and Jackson counters with a straight right hand. Bombastus walks into a left hand. Bombastus misses with a lunging right hand
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jackson slips under a jab. Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bombastus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bombastus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Jackson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#T4# Jackson works the jab nicely. Bombastus throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson cracks Bombastus with a right hand to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson slips a jab from Bombastus. Jackson is looking to counter punch. Bombastus throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bombastus throws a head kick that misses and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. Bombastus looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely. Bombastus avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bombastus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bombastus there as he acknowledges the shot. Bombastus gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Jackson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bombastus misses with a hook
#TD# and Skallagrimmson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #ES2# Bombastus makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Skallagrimmson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bombastus connects with a crisp jab. Skallagrimmson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bombastus. Skallagrimmson attempts a counter takedown but Bombastus avoids it well and moves away.#T1# Bombastus throws a lazy uppercut
#TD# and Skallagrimmson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Skallagrimmson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #SUB# Skallagrimmson is working for a kimura but Bombastus is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skallagrimmson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Skallagrimmson content just to control the position here. Skallagrimmson lands a big shot there that rocks Bombastus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
#T2# Bombastus really wants to buck Skallagrimmson off and get back to his feet. #SUB# Skallagrimmson working for a submission but Bombastus is keeping him at bay. Bombastus trying desperately to get to his feet.
Skallagrimmson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skallagrimmson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

#R1##TD2# Babatunde looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Well, if Babatunde is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Babatunde missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Babatunde sitting and controlling from the half guard. It looks like Babatunde might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Bombastus gets back to full guard.

Babatunde doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Babatunde manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Babatunde must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Babatunde is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD2# Babatunde shoots in for a takedown from distance. Babatunde tries to score with some ground and pound. Bombastus controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Babatunde's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bombastus wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!#T3# Bombastus manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Babatunde connects with a nice short shot to Bombastus's temple. Babatunde thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bombastus's head. Babatunde performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Babatunde misses with a hook. Bombastus ducked under it nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#CL2# Babatunde moves into the clinch. Bombastus tries to break the clinch but Babatunde is controlling the position. #TD2# Babatunde has hold of one of Bombastus's legs. Bombastus is fighting the takedown attempt but Babatunde gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bombastus tries to clinch up but Babatunde circles away and keeps his distance. Bombastus slips under a jab. Bombastus tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Babatunde manages to circle out of the way. Bombastus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Babatunde is fending him off so far but Bombastus persists. Nope, Babatunde circles away and we're back to standing. Bombastus slips a jab from Babatunde. Bombastus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Babatunde. Nice sprawl there from Babatunde as Bombastus shoots in. Bombastus wants to control but Babatunde is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bombastus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Babatunde controls the pace. Bombastus is trying to control the position but Babatunde postures up. Babatunde is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bombastus is keen to just control but Babatunde is a slippery customer. Bombastus stalling away here and it's allowed Babatunde to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Babatunde has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Babatunde really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bombastus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Sanjit Babatunde comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Babatunde has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
