#R1##TD# Hfg feints and as Asd raises his hands in defense, Hfg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Asd is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Asd keeping moving, preventing Hfg from controlling successfully. Hfg throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Asd works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #SUB# Hfg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Asd lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hfg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Asd postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #T1# Asd seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Hfg looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

It looks like Asd might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Hfg missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hfg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Asd's head. Asd wants to improve his position but Hfg is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Asd trying to control here.
#T3# Hfg trying to mount his opponent but Asd defends it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Asd can do anything to dispel that myth. Asd wants to control but Hfg is keeping busy.
Asd is staying active underneath Hfg, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Asd in side control lands a decent elbow. Asd tries to move to mount but Hfg blocks the move with his legs. Asd stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hfg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Asd advances position into side control!#SUB2# Asd tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. A lull in the action here as Asd stalls from top position.#T3# Asd sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hfg is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Hfg is trying to control Asd's posture but Asd avoids it. Fgh Hfg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Asd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hfg keeps working. Asd staying calm. Hfg is looking for a sweep.#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee asks Asd politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Asd prefers to stall for the moment though. Asd working the body and head with strikes. Asd misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hfg tries to buck Asd off but Asd is having none of it. Hfg is working hard here to advance position. Hfg can't do much from the bottom here. A lull in the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Asd is continuing to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asd Asd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3# Asd lands with a right hand. Asd circles away from the clinch attempt.

Asd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hfg stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fgh Hfg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Asd fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hfg pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hfg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hfg won't allow Asd to sweep him here. Hfg throws an elbow that misses. Asd uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hfg's guard. Nice move by Asd!#REVB##SUB2# Asd is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hfg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hfg has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Asd wants to sweep but no luck. #T4##SUB# Hfg drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hfg jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Asd keeping moving, preventing Hfg from controlling successfully. Asd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hfg is stalling in the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hfg slips nicely into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fgh Hfg. I think Hfg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
