#R1# Reid throws a nice inside leg kick. Rico misses with a looping right. Rico misses with a wild body shot. Rico throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reid sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rico lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reid circles away quickly and effectively. Reid looks like he wants to counter punch here. Reid connects with a body shot. Rico scores with a body shot.
Rico throws out a loose jab but Reid uses good head movement to avoid it. Rico takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Rico with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reid to score with a decent uppercut. Reid connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rico. Rico circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Rico fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rico shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rico misses with a few strikes there.
Rico on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Reid. Reid obviously looking to wear him down.
#KD# Rico drops Reid with a left right combo! Rico follows him down to the ground into side control.
#ROC# Reid is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Lamarr Reid has been cut. Rico cracks Reid with a big right hand but Reid just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Reid is still in real trouble! Can Rico finish him? Rico grinds an elbow into Reid's temple. Rico scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Reid is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Rico can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddy Rico! Lamarr Reid was interviewed post fight and said 'Bumboclaat!'.
