He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rogers's half guard. My spies in FIERCE inform me that Smith has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!#SUB# Rogers actively working from the bottom here. Rogers trying to get back to full guard but Smith takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Rogers is in a horrible position here. Smith smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gunn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Gunn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rogers. Rogers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#CUT2# It looks like Dale Rogers has been cut. Gunn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A looping hook to the body misses from Gunn. Rogers does a little dance to reset his feet. Gunn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Gunn lands a jab to the head.
Rogers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A shot to the liver by Gunn. Beautiful body shot. Gunn ducks under a wild hook from Rogers. Rogers throws a shot from downtown. Gunn moves away and avoids it. Rogers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. It seemed like Gunn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Rogers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Rogers. Rogers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Decent striking displayed by Gunn there. Rogers tries to land a body kick and Rogers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rogers will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

#R1# The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rogers misses with a hook. Rogers misses with an attempted mid kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Duggan! But no joy. Rogers cracks Duggan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rogers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Duggan checks a low kick from Rogers. Duggan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogers throws out the jab. A jab from Duggan does it's job there.#CUT2# It looks like Dale Rogers has been cut. Rogers lets loose with a powerful body kick. Duggan will feel that in the morning. Duggan avoids a kick to the body.
Duggan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Duggan misses with a low kick. Rogers connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Duggan's hands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rogers motions for Duggan to come forward.
