Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sebastian Heikkinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Jimmy (ranked 8881 p4p, 0 weight class). Heikkinen comes to the cage accompanied by Sigur Rós - Varúđ. Little Jimmy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Sebastian Heikkinen! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Little Jimmy! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Jimmy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heikkinen's guard. Heikkinen doesn't defend quickly enough and Jimmy has managed to lock this one up! Can Heikkinen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jimmy on a fantastic submission victory.

#R1# Heikkinen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Shan Wu is looking to counter the offense by Heikkinen and move into the clinch.#TD# Shan Wu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Heikkinen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shan Wu is in Heikkinen's guard.#ES2# Heikkinen pushes Shan Wu off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Heikkinen scores with a head kick. Shan Wu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#TD# Shan Wu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB# Shan Wu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Heikkinen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Heikkinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shan Wu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Heikkinen is not content to let Shan Wu control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Heikkinen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shan Wu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Heikkinen is still trying to improve position. Heikkinen dodges the ground and pound from Shan Wu. Shan Wu working away. Shan Wu is looking to take a break and control but Heikkinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #SU# Shan Wu stands up and we're back to a striking position. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Heikkinen is looking to clinch but Shan Wu is avoiding it.

Heikkinen misses with a takedown attempt and Shan Wu counters with a nice low kick that buckles Heikkinen's knee momentarily. Shan Wu leaves Heikkinen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mei Shan Wu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Heikkinen. Heikkinen with a lazy takedown attempt and Shan Wu counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Shan Wu is looking to slow Heikkinen down with leg kicks. Heikkinen darts in looking for a takedown but Shan Wu gets double underhooks and turns Heikkinen into the cage. #TD# Shan Wu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Shan Wu cracks Heikkinen with a big right hand but Heikkinen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We've been told by Collins's head coaches at Iron Fist Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Heikkinen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Heikkinen. Collins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Heikkinen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Heikkinen with a poor takedown and Collins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tom Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Heikkinen.
