Paul content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Paul prevents Smiff from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smiff manages to get to full guard.

Suvorov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#CL# Suvorov rushes Smiff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC2# Smiff breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sriracha Smiff decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

We've been told by Wrecking Ball's head coaches at The Juke Joint that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wrecking Ball. Smiff uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wrecking Ball.
Wrecking Ball is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smiff. Smiff jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wrecking Ball tries to clinch up but Smiff circles away and keeps his distance. A punch combination from Smiff misses. Wrecking Ball lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Trott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Smiff stopping the sweep attempt from Trott. Trott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Smiff wants to pass the guard but Trott is keeping the position. Smiff throwing strikes but missing. #SUB2# Smiff drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trott looks panicked! Fernandez tries to buck Smiff off but Smiff is having none of it. Fernandez is trying to control Smiff's posture but Smiff avoids it. Smiff trying to control the action but Fernandez is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Smiff is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fernandez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
