#CL# and Pacheco holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Suzuki blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC2# Suzuki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Suzuki tries to close the distance and clinch but Pacheco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pacheco is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Suzuki. Pacheco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suzuki moves away. Suzuki now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Pacheco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pacheco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suzuki moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pacheco cracks Suzuki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Pacheco throws a push kick but Suzuki slaps the foot to one side. Suzuki takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Suzuki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pacheco connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Suzuki scrambles back to his feet. Pacheco cracks Suzuki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Suzuki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Suzuki scores with a jab to the head.
Suzuki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pacheco scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Suzuki throws a sloppy head kick and Pacheco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pacheco keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Suzuki. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab from Suzuki misses. Suzuki has his takedown stuffed#CL# and Pacheco counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pacheco. Suzuki told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Suzuki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pacheco. #T3# A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pacheco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB# Pacheco drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Suzuki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pacheco has Suzuki in his guard.#REVB# Pacheco seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Suzuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacheco swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pacheco is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR##SUB# Pacheco is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Suzuki defends it well. #T4# Pacheco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Suzuki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pacheco performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Pacheco throwing shots but Suzuki is blocking nicely. Pacheco trying to control from half guard but Suzuki is working away. Khiyo Suzuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pacheco swinging wildly here.
