#R1# Gorman shoots for a double leg takedown but Rak sprawls well. He's pushed Gorman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rak moves in looking to clinch but Gorman pushes him off.#TD2# Gorman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rak napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gorman trying to control the action but Rak is working from the bottom. Rak is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gorman is controlling him well. Rak struggling a bit here. Rak is looking to regain half guard here but Gorman keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gorman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Rak can't do much from the bottom here. #T1# Rak regains half guard. Rak trying to control from the bottom.
Rak on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gorman is figuring out what he wants to do next. Rak gets full guard. Rak throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Gorman preventing the sweep. Gorman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gorman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gorman with a nice head shot there.#T2# Gorman sitting in guard here, content to control. Rak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gorman. Gorman controls from within his opponent's guard. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#TD2# Gorman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gorman scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#T3# Rak wants to control but Gorman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rak regains full guard. Nicely done. #SUB# Rak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gorman is aware though and is defending well. Rak controls Gorman momentarily but Gorman frees himself. Gorman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gorman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gorman's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #ES# Rak kicks Gorman off and gets to his feet. #T4# Gorman shoots in looking for a takedown. Rak tries to sprawl out of it but Gorman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gorman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rak moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rak tries to clinch but Gorman moves away #TD2# and Gorman counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gorman in particular looking to stall. Gorman looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gorman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gorman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rak on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Celo Gorman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2##TD2# Rak gets caught napping as Gorman dives in and scores a takedown. Rak manages to retain guard. Gorman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gorman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rak is trying to keep Gorman in close.
#SUB# Rak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gorman defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rak controls Gorman momentarily but Gorman frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gorman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #T1# Gorman passes Rak's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rak looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gorman winds up and cracks Rak with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T2# Gorman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rak is looking to improve his position.
#SUB2# Gorman is working for a kimura but Rak is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3# Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gorman in particular looking to stall. Ground and pound from Gorman. Gorman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gorman passes the guard and advances to mount! #SUB2# Gorman swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rak is now in Gorman's guard. A big mistake from Gorman there, giving up the dominant position! #SUB2# Rak is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gorman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rak is looking to defend but Gorman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rak! Gorman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rak taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Gorman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barrel circles away. Gorman takes a body punch but keeps moving. Barrel connects with a nice looking jab.
#CUT# It looks like Celo Gorman has been cut. Barrel scores with a nice strike. Gorman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Barrel counters with a nice uppercut. #KD# Barrel drops Gorman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gorman looks back up at him and smiles so Barrel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barrel ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Gorman out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cracker Barrel!

#R1# Gorman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shaw darts in trying to clinch#KD2# and Gorman counters with a crisp one two that drops Shaw! Gorman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shaw to his feet! Shaw is in big trouble!#CL2# Gorman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shaw misses with the head strike.
The referee is keeping an eye on Gorman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Gorman lands a knee to the body.
Shaw misses with some punches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gorman. #TD2# Gorman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Shaw can't fight it off and eventually Gorman manages to take the fight to the floor. Shaw looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Shaw is wriggling around but Gorman manages to pass to half guard.

#TD2# Gorman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Shaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shaw throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Shaw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shaw bucks up and tries to throw Gorman off but instead Gorman has got his back! Shaw is breathing heavily.#T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gorman just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
