Griffin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Aldo up against the cage. Griffin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

#R1# Aldo swings widly with a right hand
and Wallace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wallace has been working on his boxing with his coaches at SinPro Gym in the buildup to the fight. Wallace swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#TD2# Aldo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Aldo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Aldo trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom. Aldo wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Aldo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wallace working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Aldo. #T1# Aldo content to stall in guard here. Aldo throwing strikes from guard but Wallace blocks nicely. Aldo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aldo avoids a punch combination nicely.
#TD2# Aldo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallace quickly recovers to half guard.#T2# Aldo throwing shots but Wallace is blocking nicely. Wallace on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wallace tries to get out of the position. Aldo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Aldo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #SUB2# Aldo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wallace defend it? Aldo steps over the head and cranks it - Wallace is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Aldo!

Aldo wants to counter with a clinch but Returns pushes him away.#CL# Returns closes the distance and clinches. #BC# Returns breaks from the clinch.
#TD# Returns gets the takedown into side control. Aldo sneaks back into half guard.#SUB2# Aldo actively working from the bottom here. Aldo regains full guard. Nicely done. Aldo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. #SUB2# Aldo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Returns is aware though and is defending well. Returns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aldo on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB2# Aldo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Returns should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aldo has tightened it up now! Returns should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. In defeat, Bk Returns stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks for coming out party's on me '.

Reid avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Aldo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Aldo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
