#R1# Sobota lands with a right hand. #CUT# It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut. Sobota changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dos Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sobota connects with a nice looking jab.
A big left from Sobota misses. Dos Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Sobota tries to sprawl out of it but Dos Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sobota manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sobota keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dos Santos with a poor takedown and Sobota counters with a lovely shot to the body. Leszek Sobota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Dos Santos. Dos Santos looks for a takedown but Sobota sprawls well. Sobota throwing a counter right hand but Dos Santos manages to avoid it. Good anticipation by Sobota. Matusov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sobota avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Leszek Sobota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Matusov. Matusov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sobota gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Matusov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sobota fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Sobota to counter with a crisp jab. Carter blocks a leg kick. Carter appears to be looking for a big counter. Carter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.#TD# Carter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sobota sprawls well initially but Carter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sobota wants to get back to full guard.
