#R1# Durham takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#CUT# It looks like James Durham has been cut.#CL# Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Durham, pushing him back against the cage. Smith trying to stall but Durham improves his position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Smith lands a knee to the body.
Smith has Durham pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Durham manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #BC# Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Robbert Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith fails with a takedown attempt. Smith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#CL2# Durham takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Durham has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Durham can't get the takedown.
Durham has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Smith dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.#T1# Smith stalling in the clinch.
#TD# Smith jumps guard and drags Durham to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Durham is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #SUB2# Durham has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Durham's guard.#REVR# Durham is controlling Smith's posture. Smith won't allow Durham to sweep him here. Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Durham seems keen to control Smith's posture.#T2# Durham keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Durham throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Durham looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. #SUB2# Smith is posturing up here but Durham has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Smith tries to roll out but it's too tight and Smith has to tap! Slick submission there by Durham!
