#R1# Morrowind swings for the body but Alves moves out of range.
Morrowind has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.#CL2# Alves drives through and clinches with Morrowind against the cage.
Alves landing knees to the body.
#BC# Morrowind breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morrowind fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've been informed that Alves has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Alves moves out of range as Morrowind strikes. Morrowind scores with a body shot.
Morrowind displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Morrowind is just out of range. Morrowind jabs Alves to the body, keeping him at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alves takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Morrowind misses with a wild body shot. #KD# Morrowind drops Alves with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alves looks back up at him and smiles so Morrowind waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC# Alves is rocked!#T1# Alves ducks into an uppercut from Morrowind and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

#R1# Hamburger with a poor takedown and Alves counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hamburger blocks a head kick by Alves.
Hamburger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alves's waist but Alves gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamburger off to one side. Hamburger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Alves bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Alves lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Alves rushes Hamburger and presses him up against the cage. Alves scores with a nice hook to the head.#BC# Alves breaks from the clinch.
#T1# Hamburger shoots in but no luck this time. Michael Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holton Hamburger.#CL# Alves clinches up against the cage. Hamburger has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Alves after a bit of a struggle. Alves will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hamburger up against the cage.#TD# Alves gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Hamburger is looking for a triangle but Alves pushes his legs off easily.
#SUB2# Hamburger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #T2##SUB2# Hamburger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alves doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hamburger is tightening it up a little... Alves has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Alves reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Alves taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hamburger!
