#R1# Rooster takes a swing at Castro's ribcage but misses. Castro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Castro has a takedown stuffed. Castro misses with a leg kick enabling Rooster to counter with a crisp jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Castro. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alejandro Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#KD2# Rooster drops Castro with a beautiful combination! Castro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rooster is looking for the KO!#CUT2# It looks like Alejandro Castro has been cut. Castro shoots in but Rooster avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rooster looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#T1# Rooster swats away the attempt to clinch by Castro. Castro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Castro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rooster swivels and escapes.#CL# Castro rushes Rooster and presses him up against the cage.#BC2# Rooster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Castro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD2# and Rooster counters with a crisp right hand that drops Castro! Rooster lets Castro back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Rooster misses with a two punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rooster paws at him with a jab and circles away. Castro tries for a takedown but Rooster circles away easily#KD2# and Rooster counters with a crisp right hand that drops Castro! Rooster lets Castro back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2# Castro is rocked!#T2# Rooster swings for the body but Castro moves out of range.
Barry Rooster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rooster misses with a wild body shot. Castro tries a head kick but it misses.
Rooster doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Castro tries for a takedown but Rooster sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Castro fails with the takedown and Rooster counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Castro is breathing heavily.#KD2# Rooster feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Castro sprawling to the canvas! Castro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rooster finish him?!
Rooster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rooster lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Castro at a distance.
Rooster looks to land a left hand but Castro moved out of range nicely.#T3# Rooster scores with a jab to the body. Rooster throws a right and a left that both miss. Castro blocks a leg kick. Rooster is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Castro doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rooster counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rooster scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Castro doesn't seem bothered though. Rooster works the jab nicely.#CUT2# Alejandro Castro's cut is getting worse. Castro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rooster.#KD2# Rooster lands a left and a right that send Castro crashing to the mat, dazed. Rooster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Oh Castro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castro glances at the clock... BAM! Rooster nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Castro crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Castro is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
