Lewis fails with the takedown
and Hinson Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#TD#
Lewis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hinson Jr did well to prevent Lewis getting side control.

Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hinson Jr is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
