#R1##TD2# Harris gets a double leg takedown into Oconnor's guard. Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harris scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Harris is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Oconnor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oconnor swivels though and keeps the full guard. Oconnor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harris controlling from the top position. #T1# Harris passes Oconnor's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Oconnor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground. Oconnor trying to control here.

#SU2# Oconnor is working an open guard so Hikorashi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hikorashi tries to close the distance and clinch but Oconnor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hikorashi shoots in but Oconnor avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hikorashi tries to clinch up and Oconnor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hikorashi shoots in looking for a takedown but Oconnor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hikorashi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Oconnor quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Hikorashi. Hikorashi controlling from side mount. #T1# Oconnor is trying to control Hikorashi's posture but Hikorashi avoids it. #SUB2# Hikorashi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oconnor is not content to let Hikorashi control the position. Hikorashi tries to stand but Oconnor is controlling his head. Oconnor keeps Hikorashi under control for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hikorashi is looking to take a break and control but Oconnor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Oconnor manages to get back to half guard. Oconnor is trying to control but can't.

Oconnor is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Langote with a poor takedown and Oconnor counters with a leg kick. Langote moves in looking to clinch but Oconnor pushes him off. Oconnor tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kar Ee's elbow. Kar Ee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oconnor just stands there and leans against the cage. Hubert Szydlo has got the better of the ground game so far. Szydlo trying to control the position from guard on top but Oconnor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oconnor controls Szydlo momentarily but Szydlo frees himself. Oconnor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Szydlo trying to control the position from guard on top but Oconnor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Szydlo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Oconnor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Szydlo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Oconnor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Milton Oconnor. I think Oconnor has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
