Perry catches Plouman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A quick step to the side and Perry tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mike Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Plouman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Perry has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Plouman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Perry sprawls well. Perry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Plouman gets slowly back to his feet.#T2#
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Perry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Perry connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Plouman tumbling to the canvas! Perry pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Plouman was done - good stoppage!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Plouman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duponte circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Plouman to the canvas! Plouman doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Duponte keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
