#R1# Cowboy lands with a kick to the temple. Bush shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT2# It looks like Stanton Bush has been cut. Cowboy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cowboy misses with a series of wild punches.
Bush shoots in looking for a takedown but Cowboy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bush's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cowboy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bush avoids it really well and circles away. Cowboy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
#TD# Bush feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bush preventing the sweep. Cowboy throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
#T1##SUB# Bush is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Bush drops back looking for a leg! Cowboy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cowboy manages to kick Bush off! Bush jumps back into Cowboy's guard. Bush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush postures up.
#SU# Bush stands up from guard. Let's bang! #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bush avoids the head kick by Cowboy.
Bush throws a series of punches but Cowboy avoids them all with ease. Cowboy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cowboy wants it to stay on the feet. Cowboy throws a counter combo.#TD# Bush gets a double leg takedown into Cowboy's guard. Bush scoring with punches to the head and body. Cowboy looking to control but Bush passes into half guard.
Bush is thwarting Cowboy's attempts to control the position. Cowboy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cowboy wants to get back to full guard.#T3# Cowboy wants to control the action here but instead Bush manages to pass to full mount! Bush with shots to the head and body - Cowboy looks very uncomfortable down there. Bush avoids the attempt from Cowboy to control. Bush can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cowboy is looking to escape. Bush lands a couple of good shots and Cowboy has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#T4# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cowboy rolls, trying to escape but Bush keeps control of the position.
Cowboy covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Bush has the hooks in. Cowboy is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Bush is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Cowboy up.
Cowboy covers up after that shot from Bush.
Bush controls the action. Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. You can see the frustration on Cowboy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cowboy looks winded!#SUB# Bush working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bush lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanton Bush dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stanton Bush's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Cowboy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bush tries to avoid it but Cowboy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bush to the ground. Bush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bush looks to land a combination but Cowboy avoids it well. Bush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cowboy. A head kick by Cowboy misses #TD# so Bush counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bush content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bush's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Bush decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cowboy, up you get! No joy there for Cowboy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#CL# Bush moves into the clinch. Bush is trying to push Cowboy away but Cowboy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#T1##TD# Bush works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #SU# Cowboy is working an open guard so Bush takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cocaine Cowboy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cowboy is breathing heavily. Cowboy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bush's waist but Bush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cowboy off to one side. Stanton Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cocaine Cowboy.#TD# Bush bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cowboy bucks up and tries to throw Bush off but instead Bush has got his back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Bush controlling the positon. Bush trying to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bush lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Bush is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Cowboy is trying to remain composed but Bush is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Bush is punishing Cowboy with some ground and pound. Stanton Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cowboy wants to get back to his feet. #SUB# Bush working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Cowboy is doing well to defend. Bush seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Cowboy is forced to tap and this one is over!

#R1##TD2# Cowboy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#ES# Farrell throws Cowboy to one side and escapes! Farrell looks for a takedown but Cowboy sprawls well. Cowboy stalks Farrell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Farrell's face. Farrell staggers backwards, shaken.#ROC2# Farrell is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Ernie Farrell has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action!#CL2# Farrell tries to keep at a distance but Cowboy has taken the fight into the clinch. Oh Farrell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#TD# Farrell pulls guard successfully.
Cowboy content to stall in guard here. Farrell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Farrell seems to have got his legs back now. Cowboy trying to control the position from guard on top but Farrell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Farrell is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#SUB2# Cowboy drops back looking for a leg! Farrell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Farrell manages to kick Cowboy off! Cowboy jumps back into Farrell's guard. #T1# Cowboy stops Farrell from standing up. Cowboy stopping the sweep attempt from Farrell.#SU2# Cowboy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Farrell, up you get! #TD2# Cowboy shoots in and gets a takedown into Farrell's guard. Cowboy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Farrell wants to sweep but no luck. Farrell is adopting a defensive guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Farrell is on top in guard.
#REVR# Farrell with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cowboy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farrell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2##SUB2# Cowboy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farrell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cowboy is trying to control the position but Farrell postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Farrell chips away with some ground and pound. Farrell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Farrell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Farrell chips away with some ground and pound. Farrell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Farrell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #T3# Cowboy is controlling Farrell's posture. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cowboy can do anything to dispel that myth. Farrell is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Farrell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cowboy's head. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Farrell landing some decent shots from guard. Cowboy wants to sweep here but Farrell controlling him for the moment. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#CL2# Cowboy moves into the clinch. Farrell has had enough of the clinch but Cowboy keeps him there for the moment. Farrell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Cowboy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Farrell's efforts to push away.#TD# Farrell drags the fight down to the ground.
Cowboy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #SUB2# Cowboy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cowboy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ernie Farrell will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ernie Farrell's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##TD2# Cowboy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Farrell was covering up waiting for the punch and Cowboy finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES# Farrell is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Cowboy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Farrell misses with a hook from the clinch. #BC2# Cowboy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2# Cowboy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cowboy stops Farrell from getting back to his feet.
Farrell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cowboy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cowboy's back!#SUB# Farrell is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Cowboy has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #SUB# Farrell has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #T1##SUB# Farrell is persistently looking for the submission but Cowboy is defending it well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#SUB# Farrell is cranking Cowboy's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Cowboy! He's tightened the choke and Cowboy is tapping out!
