Pettis working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Forsberg jumps guard but Pettis turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Pettis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Forsberg is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pettis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Pettis throws a big uppercut that drops Forsberg! More strikes from Pettis and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Forsberg lies dazed against the cage as Pettis celebrates with his cornermen!

Pettis swings wildly with an uppercut but Volcanic uses good head movement to avoid it. #BC# Volcanic breaks from the clinch.

He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Volcanic is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Volcanic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Dave delivers a nice body kick. A head kick misses from Dave. Dave scores with a push kick. Pettis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dave makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dave lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dave connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dave lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conlon grinds an elbow into Pettis's temple. Conlon working the ground and pound but Pettis is defending the strikes. Pettis wants to get back to his feet. Conlon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pettis keeps working. #T1# Conlon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pettis down.

Pettis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#ROC2# Ibanez is rocked! Pettis drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Ibanez right on the button. Ibanez goes down! Pettis follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Pettis gets the win via TKO!

A very excited looking Anthony Pettis made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. The defeated Renato Ibanez had this to say: 'The only reason I cut so easily is because of my eczema and excessive use of steroid creams thinning my skin'.
