A right-left combo lands from Nikolov.
Nikolov lands a nice hook to Faspred's body. Faspred takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nikolov. Faspred does a little dance to reset his feet.
Faspred's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nikolov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Faspred scrambles back to his feet.
Faspred dives in for a single leg takedown but Nikolov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Faspred throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nikolov's waist but Nikolov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Faspred off to one side.
A little feinted left hand from Nikolov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've been informed that Faspred has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Faspred tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nikolov swivels and escapes.
Nikolov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Nikolay Nikolov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomy Faspred.
Faspred shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nikolov as he avoids it easily.

Faspred walks straight into a right hand from Nikolov - that's dropped him! Nikolov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Faspred from any more punishment! Faspred complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

I've been told that Nikolov has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nikolov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Nikolov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kloos stumbles back but Nikolov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kloos to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kloos will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
