Vladimir Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Petrov throws a head kick but Adams moves out of range.
Adams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Petrov as he jumps to the side.
Petrov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams.#CL#
Petrov rushes Adams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Adams is looking to break free of the clinch but Petrov has double underhooks. #TD#

Petrov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Adams dives in and grabs Petrov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Petrov pushes down on Adams's head and hops out.

Vladimir Petrov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
