Taibo digs a good body shot into Richards's ribs.
Richards just misses with a punch to the body.
Richards goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Taibo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Taibo avoids the head kick by Richards.
Richards looks to land a left hand but Taibo moved out of range nicely.
Taibo misses with a double jab

and Richards counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Richards perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Taibo manages to get to full guard.
Richards looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Taibo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Richards trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Taibo scores with a jab to the body.
Richards swings for the body but Taibo moves out of range.
Taibo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Taibo throws a good cross that connects.
Richards takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taibo connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Richards! He's out on his feet! Taibo rushes in and drops Richards with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Dickerson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Richards misses with an uppercut. Dickerson saw that one coming.
Richards misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Richards slips under a jab.
Richards shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dickerson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Richards fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Richards. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dickerson lands a glancing blow to the side of Richards's head.#KD2#
Dickerson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Richards sprawling to the canvas! Richards rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dickerson finish him?!

Richards is rocked!
Richard Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dickerson connects with a body shot that sends Richards's belly button to the back.
Oh Richards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dickerson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Richards stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dickerson lands a slapping body shot.
Richards is breathing heavily.
Richards doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dickerson counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Richards with a lazy takedown attempt
and Smith counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Smith shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Richards eats them both and turns towards Smith to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Richards tries to land a leg kick but Smith saw it coming and moves away.

Richards looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2#
Smith wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Richards seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Smith is tapping! Wow, great finish!
