Faraday throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Paulo to counter with a crisp jab.
Paulo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faraday circles away quickly and effectively.
And Faraday tries to counter it with a takedown but Paulo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Faraday shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Paulo counters with a straight right hand.
Paulo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Faraday decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Paulo's guard.
Faraday pushing down on Paulo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Faraday is working to tighten his grip on Paulo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Paulo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Faraday is really squeezing tight and eventually Paulo passes out! Faraday breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Selie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Paulo counters with a one-two to the body.
Paulo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Selie is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Selie closes the distance but Paulo moves to the side
and Paulo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Paulo lands a jab.
Selie throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Paulo counters with a crisp right that sends Selie to the canvas! Paulo follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luta Paulo!
Luta Paulo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Lesnar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Lesnar seems content to control.
Lesnar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Lesnar fails to advance to Paulo's back.
Paulo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#SUB2#
Paulo has left one of his arms exposed and Lesnar doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Paulo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

In his post fight interview, Brock Lesnar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Sands takes a jab right on the kisser.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sands seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paulo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sands looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Paulo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB2#

Paulo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sands lets go of the hold and Paulo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

After winning the bout, Bobby Sands thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
