#R1# Cudi goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Cudi lands a jab to the nose. Nice body kick from Cudi. Firanen tries for a takedown but Cudi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Firanen throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Cudi counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cudi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Firanen.#TD2# Firanen dives in and scores a takedown into Cudi's guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Firanen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB# Cudi pushes a forearm under Firanen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Firanen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right from Jones . Jones pressing his opponent against the cage. Jones lands with a short shot to the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Jones . Firanen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones . The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Firanen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.

Firanen dives in and grabs Shi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shi pushes down on Firanen's head and hops out. Shi scores with a nice body kick.
Firanen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shi throws a sloppy head kick and Firanen moves out of range easily. Firanen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shi. Shi scores with a head kick.
#CUT# It looks like Kai Firanen has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Firanen or perhaps it was just good defense by Shi, which made it look bad. Riki Shi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kai Firanen. Firanen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shi avoids it really well and circles away. Firanen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shi as he jumps to the side. Shi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Helsinki Fight Club in the buildup to the fight. Shi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kagiso is looking to stand up but Firanen isn't so interested in that idea. Firanen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #SUB# Kagiso escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Firanen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Firanen won't allow Kagiso to sweep him here. Firanen lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Firanen preventing the sweep. Firanen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Firanen with a nice head shot there.#SUB# Kagiso had isolated an arm as going for a kimura.
