James tries to clinch up. Harris Jr is looking to counter punch.#CL# Harris Jr drives through and clinches with James against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Harris Jr as James tries to tie him up. James tries to pull guard but Harris Jr holds him up against the cage and eventually James drops back down to his feet.
#TD# Harris Jr tightens his grip and picks James up, before dumping him to the ground. James manages to land in guard. Harris Jr cracks James with a solid left hand. James told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# James is working an open guard so Harris Jr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Harris Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Harris Jr lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as James backs up against the cage.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harris Jr sitting and controlling from the half guard. Harris Jr has control of an arm but James manages to advance to Harris Jr's back! Harris Jr manages to reverse the position and now he's in James's guard. Nice work there by Harris Jr.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris Jr is pushing down on James's leg trying to pass to half guard. #R1# Jakh fails with a takedown attempt. Jakh throws the kick towards the body but James avoids it. Jakh is looking to clinch. James was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. James dives in and grabs Jakh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jakh pushes down on James's head and hops out. Jakh is looking to counter the offense by James and move into the clinch. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jakh's waist but Jakh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. An inside leg kick lands from Jakh. Jakh darts in looking for a takedown but James gets double underhooks and turns Jakh into the cage. James keeps the fight on the outside. A countering left hand to the body from James misses. James stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pari Jakh. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James misses with a head kick.
#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Jakh enables James to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jakh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Des James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! James looks to land a strike but Witt avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Witt keeping full guard, as James tries to pass. James wants to control from the top but Witt keeps moving. Witt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard. #REVR# James is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now James is on top in guard.
#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Witt doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
