Still in the clinch, Kung scores with a nice short uppercut.#KD2# Kung drops Verma onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Verma is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC2# Verma is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Say Verma has been cut. Kung taking a breather. Oh Verma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kung scores with a hook to the body. Kung loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks Verma senseless! What a punch!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wo Kung! In his post fight interview, Wo Kung started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Verma misses the jab. Verma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stahl. Stahl avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stahl seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. No luck for Stahl with that takedown attempt. Verma dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Verma fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stahl tries to clinch up but Verma circles away and keeps his distance. Stahl looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Verma is fending him off so far but Stahl persists. Nope, Verma circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magnus Stahl. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Verma. A kick lands to the mid section there for Verma. Verma lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stahl's sensitive parts. #T1# Stahl uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Verma. Verma keeps the fight on the outside. Stahl tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Verma defends well and Stahl ends up having to push Verma into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Verma scores with a jab to the jaw. Verma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Verma lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Stahl fails with the takedown and Verma counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stahl is breathing heavily. Verma scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Stahl takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Verma darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #T2# This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Verma scores with a hook.#ROC2# Stahl is rocked! A chopping leg kick lands by Verma. Verma throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Stahl stumbling backwards into the cage! Stahl bounces back off the cage towards Verma, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Verma lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Verma celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
