A short body shot lands from Scarecrow as the two fighters clinch.
Scarecrow lands with a left to the head. #CUT2# It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Davis is breathing heavily. Scarecrow lands a right hand that snaps the head of Davis backwards. Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Scarecrow walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL2# Scarecrow has Davis up against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scarecrow creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Scarecrow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Davis backwards. #ROC2# Davis is rocked! Scarecrow lands with a right to the head. Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Davis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scarecrow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Scarecrow throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis. Davis blocks an uppercut.
Scarecrow swings wildly with an uppercut but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice left hand lands by Scarecrow.
Scarecrow has a couple of punches blocked by Davis.

A right hook to the body lands for Scarecrow.
Scarecrow lands on the inside with an uppercut. Scarecrow lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Davis to his knees! Scarecrow keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Tired Scarecrow decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1# Nixon thuds his right hand into Davis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#CUT2# It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Nixon throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Davis stumbling backwards into the cage! Davis bounces back off the cage towards Nixon, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Nixon lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Nixon celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Richard Nixon! After winning the bout, Richard Nixon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Let's see what he's got on the ground. #SUB# Perry is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily. #SUB2# Davis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perry is just riding it out for now. Davis eventually gives up the hold. Perry is looking to get back to full guard here but Davis has managed to pass to side control instead. Perry tries to buck Davis off but Davis is having none of it. Perry is working hard here to advance position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perry keeps working. Perry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Davis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Davis prevents Perry from improving his position.#T1# Perry misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Perry defends successfully for a significant amount of time. #R1# Davis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Davis shoots in looking for a takedown but Zuev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zuev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Davis tries for a takedown but Zuev circles away easily and Zuev counters with a nice uppercut. Davis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#CUT# It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Davis moves away from the strike by Zuev . Zuev looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range. Davis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. #TD2# Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zuev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zuev tries to get out of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB2# Zuev is trying to push Davis off with his feet but Davis grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! A punch lands to the side of Davis 's head but he takes it in his stride.#KD2# Abner drops Davis with a beautiful combination! Davis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Abner is looking for the KO!#ROC2# Davis is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Abner has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Davis tries for a takedown but Abner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Davis fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Abner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Edipo Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abner lands with an overhand left. Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Abner fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Davis out cold! Brutal finish!

Paul tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg. Paul pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.
Paul has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Paul avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Davis. Paul pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.
Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Davis wants to pass to mount but Paul is defending the position. Davis gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tuttle is looking to pass Davis's guard but actually Davis recovers to full guard. Davis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Davis forces his way into half guard. Davis controlling the pace. Tuttle wants to control but Davis is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis passes to full mount! Tuttle is working to get back to half guard.
#T1# Davis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tuttle is looking to escape. #SUB# Davis working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tuttle turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Davis off and cradles Tuttle's limp body as Davis celebrates with his corner.

Davis trying to control the position here. #SUB# Pawiloks lying in Davis's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Davis decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Pawiloks taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# Predator thuds a left hand into Davis's body. Davis shoots in for a takedown but Predator shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Predator with a body punch. A glancing blow. Davis moves forwards but Predator connects with a nice, crisp jab. Davis shoots for a double leg takedown but Predator sprawls well. He's pushed Davis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Predator scores with a body shot.
Predator avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Predator lands a lovely overhand right.#CUT2# It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Predator looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#CL2# Predator moves into range and clinches up with Davis. A bit of stalling here from Predator.

The killer instinct kicks in and Predator finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Predator!
