Brooks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ruttenum has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Eric Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brooks throws a nice head kick!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom! Brooks lands a massive head kick that sends Ruttenum crashing into the ropes, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Brooks is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

and Ruttenum counters with a one-two to the body. Boyka tries to bum rush Ruttenum with a series of wild strikes but Ruttenum uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ruttenum tries to close the distance and clinch but Van Ginsburg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Van Ginsburg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As Van Ginsburg backs off Ruttenum throws a huge counter combo but Van Ginsburg manages to avoid it all. Van Ginsburg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ruttenum moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Van Ginsburg dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Van Ginsburg!

and Ruttenum counters with a three punch combo that has Logan backing up. Logan nods at Ruttenum to acknowledge the strikes. Ruttenum drops his hands momentarily and Logan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Logan thows a left - swing and a miss! Ruttenum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Logan. A combination from Ruttenum does no damage. Logan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ruttenum defends well and Logan ends up having to push Ruttenum into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Logan, as that shot connected.
Logan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruttenum manages to avoid it. Ruttenum tries to clinch up. Ruttenum connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #T1# Logan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ruttenum keeps the fight on the outside. Brickhackski drops his hands for a split second and Ruttenum immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Brickhackski face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ruttenum follows up with a right hand that knocks Brickhackski into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
