#R1# Cojuangco shoots in but no luck this time. Ramirez scores with a jab to the body. Horrible takedown attempt by Cojuangco or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez, which made it look bad. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cojuangco is defended easily by Ramirez. Ramirez now looks to counter with a shot at the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Boy Cojuangco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramirez lands a head kick!
Ramirez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cojuangco looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Cojuangco definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ramirez thumps Cojuangco with a low kick. Ramirez leaves Cojuangco with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jesus Ramirez and Red McCoker. Ramirez's entrance music is El Jarabe Tapatio-The Mexican Hat Dance. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Jesus Ramirez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesus Ramirez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jesus Ramirez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Red McCoker! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ramirez uses his free foot to push down on Lara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lara. Ramirez tries to control but Lara wriggling away. Lara working to try and regain half guard.
