Lawler is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Jerry Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tycooner tries to bum rush Lawler with a series of wild strikes but Lawler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lawler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tycooner but Tycooner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lawler.
Tycooner was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lawler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Tycooner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Prince Tycooner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Lawler.
Tycooner throws an overhand right that lands on Lawler's shoulder, as Lawler tries to avoid the shot.
Lawler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lawler misses with a takedown attempt - Tycooner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawler goes for a double leg but Tycooner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tycooner continues to drive forward.

Tycooner stalks Blanxart and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blanxart's face. Blanxart staggers backwards, shaken.

Blanxart leaves his chin hanging out and Tycooner seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Blanxart crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Stiffy darts in looking for a takedown but Tycooner gets double underhooks and turns Stiffy into the cage.
It seemed like Tycooner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stiffy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tycooner's waist but Tycooner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stiffy off to one side.
Stiffy shoots in looking for a takedown but Tycooner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stiffy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taco Stiffy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stiffy has his takedown stuffed
and Tycooner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tycooner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stiffy is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Tycooner lands a really nice looking cross but Stiffy seems unphased.

Stiffy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stiffy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stiffy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stiffy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tycooner for as long as he can get away with.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tycooner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tycooner throws an uppercut from hell that sends Reem clean off his feet! He's out cold! Tycooner stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
