#R1# Sousa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sousa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've been hearing reports that Sousa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Storm throws out a loose jab but Sousa uses good head movement to avoid it. Sousa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Storm swivels and escapes. Storm stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Sousa is looking to clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Storm! But no joy. Storm cracks Sousa with a right hand to the side of the head. Storm takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm throws a hook but Sousa avoids it easily. Sousa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Storm takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Storm ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.#T1# A big left from Sousa misses. Sousa walks into a stiff left hand from Storm. Sousa looks to land a left hand but Storm moved out of range nicely. Storm throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sousa sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sousa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Sousa misses with a wild body shot. Storm defending well as Sousa loads up on a big left hand. Storm looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sousa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Storm manages to avoid it. Sousa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sousa looks to throw the jab but Storm is out of range. Storm moves out of range as Sousa strikes. Storm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sousa dives in for a single leg takedown but Storm sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Sousa. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T2# Sousa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Storm looks to land a left hand but Sousa moved out of range nicely. Sousa throws a lazy uppercut
letting Storm counter with a right hand. Storm defending well as Sousa loads up on a big left hand. #CL# Storm tries to keep at a distance but Sousa has taken the fight into the clinch. Storm tries to circle away but Sousa has him pinned against the cage. Sousa's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sousa manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Storm is looking to take a break and control but Sousa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can't force these things though and Storm defends well.#SUB# Sousa looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Storm is defending well. Sousa quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Storm has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sousa celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Joao Sousa! A relieved looking Joao Sousa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

#R1# Storm tests Sobota's chin there with a solid looking shot. Some wild striking there from Storm.
#CL2# Sobota pushes Storm up against the cage in a clinch. Sobota digs a right hand underneath Storm's ribcage. Storm let out a lung full of air as it connected. Sobota misses with some punches.
#BC# Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A lazy left from Storm finds it's target.#CL2# Sobota moves into the clinch. Sobota lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sobota lands with a left to the head. Storm tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sobota smiles and moves away.
Sobota misses with a left hand and Storm counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Storm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sobota.#CL2# Sobota has taken the fight to the clinch.

Sobota lands on the inside with an uppercut. #ROC2# Storm is rocked! Sobota scores with a hook to the body. Storm is breathing heavily. A nice left hand lands by Sobota.
Oh Storm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sobota lands with a light punch inside. Sobota throws a big uppercut that drops Storm! More strikes from Sobota and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Storm lies dazed against the cage as Sobota celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leszek Sobota! A less than humble Leszek Sobota misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
