Ho has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD# Ho jumps guard and drags Thomas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Thomas wanted to stand there but Ho had control of the position. Ho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ho tries to land a sweep but no joy. Thomas trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thomas is looking to stand up but Ho won't let him. Ho has control of Thomas's left arm, preventing Thomas from doing any damage. #SUB# Ho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thomas is aware though and is defending well. #R1# Banter lands with a hook. Ho tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banter.
Ho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Banter dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Banter throws a body shot but no joy. Banter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Banter looks to score with a jab to the body but Ho is just out of range. Ho looks like he wants to counter punch here. Banter misses the shot to the body. Banter throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ho tries to counter with a clinch but Banter shakes him off and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Banter as he avoids it easily. Banter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ho's head backwards. Banter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ho momentarily.
#T1# Ho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chad Banter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pius Ho. Ho takes a solid shot to the body. It looks like Banter has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Ho looks winded! Banter lands a jab to the head.

#TD# Willy tries to sprawl but Ho drives through with a takedown into half guard. Willy wants to control but Ho is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ho tries to pass the half guard into mount. Willy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Willy is trying to maintain the position but Ho is very close to passing his half guard.#SUB# Ho is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Willy has managed to free his arm - good work. Willy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ho is working away from the top position though. #R1# Nice sprawl there from Wesnar as Ho shoots in. Wesnar is breathing heavily. Ho misses with a body shot.
Wesnar tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ho manages to circle out of the way. Ho fails with a takedown attempt. Ho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wesnar tries to avoid it but Ho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wesnar to the ground. Wesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brock Wesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pius Ho. Ho shoots in for a takedown but Wesnar shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wesnar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.#CL# Wesnar forces Ho back against the cage and clinches.#TD2# Ho tightens his grip and picks Wesnar up, before dumping him to the ground. Wesnar manages to land in guard. #T1# Ho postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SU2# Ho stands and steps away. Ho looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#ES# Ho manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#BC# Ho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL2# Cross clinches with his opponent.
