Turso throws a leg kick that misses. Turso throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fernando sees it coming and avoids it easily. Fernando fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turso has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Turso tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fernando was well out of range. Poor timing from Turso. Turso misses with a body shot.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Iku Turso. Well Fernando has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Turso uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Alkaev. Alkaev has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turso finds it's way round the side to connect with Alkaev's head. Turso throws a nice outside leg kick. Alkaev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turso. Turso swings widly with a right hand
and Alkaev counters with a stiff right hand. A nice inside leg kick there by Turso. That's going to slow Alkaev down. Turso has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Seppo's Massage Temple in the buildup to the fight. Iku Turso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turso keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Turso tries to kick Wrestlefuck off but Wrestlefuck keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Turso manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #SUB2# Turso working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wrestlefuck doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wrestlefuck manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. That's gotta hurt. #CUT2# It looks like Hemfsford Jowars has been cut. A jab from Turso finds it's way through Jowars's defenses. Turso thows a body kick. Jowars tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jowars throws a sloppy head kick and Turso counters with a stiff right hand. Jowars really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
