#R1##TD# Estes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mort tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Estes is in Mort's guard. Estes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Mort working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Estes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Estes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mort is on top in guard.
#REVB# Estes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Estes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mort postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Estes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mort is one step ahead there. Mort missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #T1# Mort won't allow Estes to get back to his feet. Estes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mort slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Estes controls Mort momentarily but Mort frees himself. Estes wants to improve his position but instead Mort has moved into half guard.
Estes wants to get back to full guard. Mort missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mort has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Estes is looking for a sweep. Mort is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mort takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SU2# Mort stands up and beckons Estes to join him on the feet. #CL2# Mort closes the distance and clinches. Estes tries to score a body lock takedown but Mort shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#T2##BC# Estes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Some bone on bone action there as Estes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A clash of legs there as Estes blocks the low kick.#CL2# Mort clinches up with Estes and pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Estes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mort jabbing away but nothing is landing. Estes tries to counter by clinching up but Mort breaks away and moves out of range. Mort misses with the combination.
Estes attempts a counter takedown but Mort avoids it well and moves away. Estes avoids the head kick by Mort.
Estes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Estes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mort throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mort with a poor takedown #CL# and Estes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Estes. Mort tries to pull guard but Estes holds him up against the cage and eventually Mort drops back down to his feet.
#T3# Estes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Estes wants to break the clinch but can't.

Murray Estes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Mort.#BC# Estes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#TD2# Estes gets caught flat footed, as Mort shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Estes has momentary wrist control but Mort slips an elbow through the middle. Estes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Estes wants to sweep but no luck. Mort showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like Mort might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Mort missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Estes keeping moving, preventing Mort from controlling successfully. #T4# Estes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mort tries to free his leg and advance position but Estes is retaining full guard. Mort trying to control the position from guard on top but Estes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mort pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Estes is keeping the position for now. Estes lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Estes keeping moving, preventing Mort from controlling successfully. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mort is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Estes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mort with the counter takedown but Estes avoids it easily. Estes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Estes wants it to stay on the feet. Estes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# Davidson tries to bum rush Mort with a series of wild strikes but Mort uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davidson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mort defends it nicely. Mort tries for a takedown but Davidson circles away easily and Davidson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Davidson throws a head kick that Mort semi-blocks.
#TD2# Davidson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mort to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mort seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters roll with the hold and Davidson manages to kick Mort off! Mort jumps back into Davidson's guard. Mort throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mort prevents Davidson from getting back to his feet. Mort trying to control the position from guard on top but Davidson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mort is looking to work some ground and pound but Davidson has wrist control. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Davidson's guard. Mort looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #T3# Davidson controlling the position for now. Davidson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mort wants to pass the guard but Davidson is defending well. Mort wants to stand but Davidson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Mort landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #SU2# Mort gets to his feet - back to striking we go! #CL# Davidson rushes Mort and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#T4# Davidson is trying to break free. Davidson is trying to break the clinch but Mort is controlling him.#BC# Davidson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from Davidson does no damage. #TD2# Mort drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davidson wants to get back to his feet but Mort is dominant here and he's now got Davidson's back! Mort throwing wild punches that miss their target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB2# Mort has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Davidson is in real trouble here. Mort gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Davidson is tapping out! Mort wins by rear naked choke!
