Kane fails with a takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Payne! But no joy.
Kane shoots and misses
and Kane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kane tries for a takedown but Payne circles away easily
and Payne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane throws a sloppy head kick #KD2#
and Payne counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kane! Payne lets Kane back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#
Kane is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane misses with a takedown attempt
and Payne counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Kane out cold! What a finish! Payne is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stryker Payne!
Our winner, Stryker Payne, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Lee cracks Kane with a good jab.
Kane dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Kane's head and hops out.
Kane with a poor takedown
and Kane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kane doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lee counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kane thinking.
Mario Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Kane.
Lee tests Kane's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lee throws a good cross that connects.
Good exchange - Lee coming out on top.
Lee drops Kane with a naaaaasty hook - Kane is in real trouble here! Lee dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Combs clinches up with Kane and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2#
Kane has picked Combs up - he's going for a ride! Kane dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Combs punching from the bottom.
Combs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2#
Kane is looking for a kimura but Combs is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kane to get the leverage. #SUB#
Combs looking for submissions off his back.
Kane seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #CUT2#
It looks like Jake Combs has been cut.
Kane trying to control the action but Combs is working from the bottom.
Kane winds up and cracks Combs with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kane missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Kane is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Combs looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kane gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Combs is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kane lets go of the hold and Combs can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Kapustka tries to sprawl but Kane drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kapustka tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Kane manages to move to mount!
Kapustka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kapustka really wants to buck Kane off and get back to his feet. #SUB#
Kane is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kapustka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kane looking to control but Kapustka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. #SUB#
Kane working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kapustka looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kane! Submission of the night perhaps?
